ENTERTAINMENT EXPLOSION (EE) has been hosting an annual benefit concert for homeless kids for 11 consecutive years. A Really Big Shoe 11 Our Last Farewell was held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Olympia. It raised another $25,000+ for the homeless and needy kids in eight local school districts – Olympia, North Thurston, Tumwater, Shelton, Yelm, Tenino, Rainier and Rochester – and for Community Youth Services. In 11 years, we have now raised over $275,000 for the kids to be used for shoes, clothing, shelter, school fees, classes, and much more.
